Its the holiday season now.... I've been waiting for this long break for a very very very long time. Was really busy with work stuff and mummy's operation lately.
Anyhow, here I am in Penang to write my blog :) Haha... It seems that I really cant find the time to do blogging in Melaka ????? What can I say... time and money cant never be enough nor sufficient.....
Time passes by really fast and here I am in the end of year 2008. More to come next year where "rough waves" of the economy crisis are expected to be "shown" to the world next year.... *which is just several days away actually*......
Well, every year..... in the month of December, it will always be the month for me to sit back and gather my thoughts... WHAT DID I ACHIEVE/s this YEAR *2008* ? This will always be the one and only question which I asked myself BUT it sure comes with a really tough answer.... and each time when I think I did not do well enough.... the next answer which I told myself" THERE WILL ALWAYS BE NEXT YEAR" .... HAHAHA... pathetic me !!! *procrastination has always be apart of me... SHIT !!! This is a not a good thing though :( *
Anyhow, here's my list of my ACHIEVEMENTS in the year of 2008 :
*Please keep in mind that MY achievements might not be YOUR achievements*
1) 5 figures savings
~ I am really proud of myself for this... BUT I've SPEND NEARLY ALL of them on my next achievement.....Please read 2nd achievement:
2) OWN house
~ Houses doesnt comes cheap anywhere.... Everyone was telling me, "KL apartments are very expensive", "Pg landed property super expensive" and ect ect ect.... Oh come on.... although properties/houses in Melaka are some what much cheaper than other places.. how much cheaper can it be ?????
~ After much "deligations" and "discussions", we've finally owned one.... and the responsibility for this proud moment of a house shall last for the next 25 years.... *sweat*...
~ Its a commitment which I know will bear its fruit in just a matter of time....
3) Career
~ Manage to find "hook up" even before graduated
~ A year passed with "excruciating" tense and stress at work..... but it all paid off when I got a good salary promo.... *not as much as you think it might be though*
~ Next year, I shall be in a new department... heading my project and whole production line....
*life aint easy when you have to "pau kah liao" everything*
4) Family holiday
~ Genting trip was really nice :)
Well, thats the top 4 achievements which I am proud of. But I must admit that I have more "things" not DONE at all rather than those achievements above...
WISHLIST NOT DONE:
1) owning a CAR
~ I've been saving for a car since I started working about 1 year and 4 months ago....
~ I've always wanted to have a car of my own so that I can bring my parents out for trips or outings.
~All these years of traveling difficulties have made me very determine and anticipated to get a car. I still remember those days back during cny season, we've to wake up really early so that we could catch up with 7.30am town bus from our place. By the time we reached our grandma's house, it will be nearly 9.30am !!! 2 hours for a merely 10km distance !!! We never took a cab as it will be really expensive during festive seasons and we're not that well off anyway.
~I still remember those days when papa picked me up from school with his "ah pek" motorbike. Can you imagine a motor which its FULL + TOP speed of only 40km/hour ???? Those were the times....when it rains, its kinda equivalent to HELL. Although I was still in primary school at that time, I can still remember it clearly... It was raining heavily and papa tried to kept on riding slowly. Both of us were totally drenched wet and we ended up stopping at a small bus stop while waiting for the rain to stop. It was freezing cold with thunder and lighting "accompanying" us. From that day onwards, I told myself I MUST GET A CAR once i started working !!! Kinda sad thinking of those times.... and feeling much "SAD-DER" now when I still can realize this dream of mine although I know I can afford it.... However, with the house loan and Ah Bee taking his masters now, I dont think I can fullfill this dream of mine in the near future yet....
~ I've been telling someone on how much a car meant to me... but I dont think he will ever understand what I've been through....well, I cant blame him but I do hope one day he'll understand the reason of having a car as a luxury necessity for me......
2) New look:
~ I've always wanted to do some changes of my look. But as usual, either I dare not try a new look * short hair ?, curly hair ? bangs ? * or I just dont have the time for "pampering myself time".
~ Always complaining about my pimples but its kinda hard to totally cure it because of my working atmosphere and culture. Seldom have the time to go for facial sessions... either I dont have the time or I am just too tired.... schedule not tally with his...... no transport at times.... So I just gave up .....just DRINK and DRINK and DRINK lots of water !!!
~ If still the pimples does not clear up..... its GODs WILL !!! * although I know I can eventually do something to changes this.... and yeah... I am pathetic in this case*
~ Anyhow, it does not affect my self confidence though.... but with clear skin, of coz I can look more beautiful... HAHAHAHA.... ALL girls would love to be beautiful EVERYDAY !!! kekeke....
3) Holiday getaway
~ I want to go OVERSEA !!!
~ Its might sound pitiful to others, but shamelessly I've not been on a holiday OUT of Malaysia before ( except Sg which I've visited for half a day ONLY.... and Germany trip - sponsered by my company for training purposes )
~ My target would be BALI as I am looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway...
~ But I am kinda tight up with other MORE important commitments, I shall let this slip for this year.....
I shall come up with my 2009 resolution very soon :)

All in all, you're one great sis and I'm proud of you. Maybe we grow together along the way and that's make the difference, we see and feel the happiness and pain.
What more can I ask for... a great sis who is an engineer now, 'panas baran': mood swings and etc. and that's something that I will cheerish forever.
