It is my birthday on this very day !!! I am officially 24 this year !!! Wana know how I celebrated my birthday this year ? You'll be surprise with what I've wish for. Truthfully, all I want for my birthday : REST and WATCH ASTRO at home all day. I'm serious and not joking on this. Work has been taxing lately so I really need a break.
Anyhow, as my colleagues knows that my birthday was coming soon (on the 10th Oct), they eventually organized a small birthday party+dinner with the whole gang. Went to SAMPAN BISTRO for dinner. As usual, we chatted and laughed as though we're the only customer; and I do mean loud... as in really loud. Haha. At first we planned to play PICTIONARY in Xuanz but we ended up staying in the restaurant for the whole night. As the night was already "running late", they asked for the bill and suddenly I heard a birthday song was played. Too my surprise, the waiter brought out a birthday cake to our table :) I dont really like grand birthday celebration actually.... Kinda paiseh too... So I told my friends ; "eh eh... Dont sing the brtrhday song le... Dont sing so loud....". And you know what they did ????? They sang even louder and sang the birthday song repeeatedly in Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese and even Cantonese !!!!! OMG !!!! There I was... so shy.... but ended up smiling happily. THANKS GUYS !!! I love it !!!
Next, Ah Bee fetched me back home that night. And as soon as we reached home, he asked me to switch on the fan and lights as usual..... Then I saw something......
There was a small note sticked on the switch bracket; which leads me to my next clue.......
So off I went to search for my next clue in the FRIDGE !!! I found a chocolate bar and at the back of it, there was another clue.......... which stated that I must figure out where my next clue will be.....
Next, I went upstairs into our master bedroom..... then into my closet, and I found a brtrhday card..... which leads me to the FINAL clue where my birthday present was hidden. Hehehe.....
Finally, my birthday present was hidden inside our wardrobe cupboard.... I quickly opened the sliding door... and lots of balloons then dropped out ..... Dam I was already so excited by then...
Without hesitating, I anxiously searched in the whole wardrobe...causing all my nicely folded clothes all ruined.... haha.....
Finally, found my birthday present.....
CARLO RINO PINK HANDBAG !!! NEW ARRIVAL !!!
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY !!! LOVE IT so much !!!
I love the "teddy bear" keychain hooked to the bag ..... lovely....
Did I say lots and lots of balloons ???????? He did complained on the very night saying that he "blow his heart out".... pity him....kekeke.... And I know that this bag will cost him a bomb...... but I really love it to the max !!!
On the next day, in my office .... I received a very surprising call.... A florist called me up and told me to pick up my flower... and I was like "emmmm... what ???!@##!? What flower ? Who asked you to send it to me ? Confirm Ooi Mei Ling ???? " And he answered " YES, can you please come and collect it from me ?"
I was angry and furious at first.... thinking that it was my bf who sent the flowers.... which I did warned him before NOT TO SENT FLOWERS to my office .... Dam paiseh ler.....
So anyway, I went to pick up the bouquet of flowers.... and to my surprised ..... I found out that it was my sis who sent those lovely flowers :)
I never thought that she will do that though..... Thanks Mei !!! I love it.....
It was a really HUGE bouquet of flowers...... And I do mean HUGE !!!! The whole office was asking who sent it.. who sent it...who sent it.....
And I answered them with a smile on my face ... "my sis"
What makes me so happy that day was the message written on the card..... Meaningful wishes from a meaningful family member.....
